This doesn’t count as cake of the month as it’s merely a new flavour of a previous winner. But as with the Daim edition, it’s now available in Tesco as well as Ikea.
Basically it’s the same cake as the Daim version but with Toblerone topping. I like Toberlone, so it seemed a good idea. But I found the end result was not as tasty as I’d hoped. It was still very tasty, but the Toblerone didn’t come through as much as I expected. This being the case, I’ll be sticking to the Daim product. But if that’s not available, then I wouldn’t turn this cake down. Overall 7/10.
